SottilePark.com is a public website that is privately published and maintained.
We strive to make Sottile Park one of the best
and busiest "pedestrian pocket parks" in the country.
Our goals are to...
- Relate the history of the park, its creations by the
city through the efforts of many parties.
- Describe the City of Pittsfield's uses
and other people's past uses.
- Provide LINKS TO FREE EDUCATION FREE as
well as FREE SALES & MARKETING EDUCATION, thus perpetuating a pay-forward philosophy embraced
by the park's namesake, Anthony William Sottile Sr.
Moreover, since the bridge upon which the park
is built once held newspaper bulletin boards maintained by the Miller Families, past owners of The Berkshire Eagle,
the ONLINE emphasis of Sottile Park's website is to
(a) provide links
to 100s of news sources & resources;
(b) provide an online address
for
* guaranteed ethical business press releases
* proper social pages,
* remembrances (not obituaries)
* links exclusively
to Pittsfield websites, and
* future plans opinions which follow guidelines
Hopefully, visitors will return DAILY to view information which is useful and
enjoyable to them. If there are links which you feel should be included, please send them along. If they
are law-abiding, most likely we already have a category for their inclusion. DITTO for broken links. If you find one
or some -- they happen daily as other sites change their site -- send us list... and if you have the new link, we'll
